The Raytown Emergency Assistance Program (REAP) Center is an 8,200sf building project erected to meet a serious need for additional space to adequately serve the Raytown area. It is one phase of three phases planned for this community enhancement area. Additional phases include a Parks Department facility with community gardens, and a community connector path for bicycles and pedestrians.
Landscaping for the REAP Center satisfied the Raytown Landscape Ordinances while keeping costs low and site adornment high.
This $1.3 million project saw construction completed on donated land, with a large portion of labor donated by community volunteers, in Summer 2009. Landscaping was installed in Fall 2009.
