Public Water Supply District #2
6945 Blue Ridge Boulevard, Raytown, Missouri.
Installed Fall 2009

The design concept for this project is a naturalistic display of water ushering forth from a recreated Missouri spring, flowing down native bed rock and splashing onto a stream bed below. The design imparts a message that clean, Missouri source water is being presented to the citizens of Raytown.
The water fall is a pondless system with water recirculating from a reservoir below the stream bed gravel. The reservoir rim elevation is set higher than the full pool elevation of the adjacent stormwater impoundment pond, ensuring clean water is always available for display.
A curbed off area around the back side of the fountain has a paved pedestrian area wilth opportunities for name plates commemorating PWSD board members as they generously volunteer their time to serve on this public utility board of directors.
This approximately $9,000 fountain was installed in late Fall 2009 and was planted with the first phase of regional natives in Spring 2010.
